Anna and Tere are thrilled to host: "Welcoming the Light" Song Circle!

We will gather to celebrate the symbolic (and actual) increasing hours of daylight, and observe Imbolc on:

Imbolc, usually celebrated on February 1st as the halfway point between the winter solstice and spring equinox. 

The holiday is linked with the triple goddess Brigid, keeper of the sacred flame, wisdom, poetry, healing and domesticated animals. In this song circle , we are igniting our inner flame healing our collective voices by calling on the wisdom of Brigid and the return of the light.  

Circle will begin with brief instruction and some vocal warm ups. Song Circle is open to all who wish to sing. Please bring your own water or tea and any percussive instruments you would like to add to the rhythm while we sing (shakers, maracas, djembe or frame drums, singing bowls, etc).
