The Casual Coven

The Casual Coven

End of the Year Soirée

This one’s just for us, Covenettes.

No learning this time; just celebrating and marking the final turn of the wheel for 2024. We will share, celebrate, and craft wish pinecones for you to burn on New Year’s Eve.

And we will feast! Courtesy of the Collective, we will offer a Viking style feast table. And we are asking you to contribute one simple piece - a stone soup offering . Bring a cup of one simple ingredient for our soup. Research what vitamins and nutrients your ingredient offers us. Research any folk magic associated with your ingredient. (Feel free to email, text or message me in the group FB chat for me to keep a running list of ingredients claimed) We will each drop our ingredients in the cauldron and let it simmer during the event, then enjoy it together at the end!

The Fable of Stone Soup

Some travelers come to a village, carrying nothing more than an empty cooking pot. Upon their arrival, the villagers are unwilling to share any of their food stores with the very hungry travelers. Then the travelers go to a stream and fill the pot with water, drop a large stone in it, and place it over a fire. One of the villagers becomes curious and asks what they are doing. The travelers answer that they are making "stone soup", which tastes wonderful and which they would be delighted to share with the villager, although it still needs a little bit of garnish, which they are missing, to improve the flavor.

The villager, who anticipates enjoying a share of the soup, does not mind parting with a few carrots, so these are added to the soup. Another villager walks by, inquiring about the pot, and the travelers again mention their stone soup which has not yet reached its full potential. More and more villagers walk by, each adding another ingredient, like potatoes, onions, cabbages, peas, celery, tomatoes, sweetcorn, meat(like chicken, pork and beef), milk, butter, salt and pepper. Finally, the stone (being inedible) is removed from the pot, and a delicious and nourishing pot of soup is enjoyed by travelers and villagers alike. Although the travelers have thus tricked the villagers into sharing their food with them, they have successfully transformed it into a tasty meal which they share with the donors.

Feminine Embodiment & Healing Circle

Feminine Embodiment & Healing Circle

Support group + sacred sisterhood circle with opportunities for connection, embodiment, shadow work, and inner child healing.

with Tatiana Williams

Healing circles are an ancient and cross-cultural practice. Women have gathered in circles to celebrate, grieve, honor, and support one another for ages!

In Feminine Embodiment and Healing Circles with Tatiana, the space is energetically curated to be a soft place for the feminine to land. Join a healing circle to practice slowing down the mind, and using somatic or body-based practices that invite you to experience the full range of feelings and  sensations including anger, joy, and pleasure.

We will move, shake, and flow in each circle, engage in inner work, group discussion, and guided activities to shift blocked, stagnated, or repressed energy and allow for collective healing. Tatiana will tap into her intuition and utilize spiritual guidance to cultivate the container for healing.

A healing circle is perfect for the femme-identified individual who is:

Craving connection and desiring to heal in community

Rediscovering herself and wanting to be more authentic

In her head and wants to reconnect with the body

Wanting to harmonize her masculine and feminine energies

Needing to process the nuances, challenges, and victories in this life

You are invited to show up exactly as you are; to witness and be witnessed; to share and receive; and heal the divine feminine energy that lies within.

Here are what some of our past circle attendees have said:

"The energy was safe and welcoming. I loved the diversity of the women-age, race, personality, life experience."

"You are a beautiful leader and so safe in creating a very nurturing space for women to heal."

"It was a calm and pleasant experience."

Women in circle will have access to an optional GroupMe (messaging app) for ongoing connection building and integration with their sisters between sessions. Click Here to Join: https://groupme.com/join_group/91805222/v2eggnbf

Dance Floor Church

Dance Floor Church

with Tere Marie

The body serves as the container that houses all three of our ‘selves'

Body, Spirit and Mind.

And there's no greater medicine than tapping into the wisdom of the body.

Yet…Due to trauma, societal conditioning, lack of information and a cultural disregard for the importance of spiritual practice, many of us find ourselves disconnected from the three parts individually, let alone in unified connection with the group.

The basis of Dance Floor Church is facilitating unification of the of our three selves into one harmonious being or state.

In Dance Floor Church, we access flow state, which is an exquisite embodiment experience that many liken to bliss, or ecstasy.
When in flow state, our physical sensory system is in safety, and wide open to connection with our spiritual and emotional selves
From here, our physical self and our spiritual/ethereal/creative self come into harmonious alignment.
This process connects us to our truest expression of self, unlocking pathways to healing that have previously been inaccessible.

We can access our deepest, intuitive, creative stirrings
We can access parts of us that have felt ‘lost’ or ‘forgotten’.
We can access our inner wise woman
We can access Shadow with curiosity and openness
We can access healing where it was previously unavailable
We can access our magick and ability to manifest the lives we desire.

In Dance Floor Church, we remember who the fuck we are

In Dance Floor Church, we explore our nervous systems, tap into our deepest flow state, learn how to work with energies and emotions stored in the body, move them through the body, and reclaim our personal power through movement and dance.

During this class, you will connect to your deepest self, explore emotions/sensation/emotion, befriend and regulate your nervous system. You will fill your toolkit with exercises and practices to take home, and off the mat to help you feel more confident, powerful, and regulated throughout your week.

In class, we explore various techniques and practices, including: breath work, nervous system regulation, yoga, meditation, womb wisdom, un-choreographed (and some VERY sensual) dance.

This class is extremely powerful, and can, at times, be (safely) confronting.

Each class opens and closes in sacred circle, and invites all participants to be seen and witnessed in a circle of women.

Classes fill quickly, pre-registration is  recommended

Currently, this class is open to women, non binary folks and all genders with internal reproductive anatomy.

She set the stage for me to feel safe enough to drop in, let go of insecurities, and let the integration of body and mind happen in profound ways. I highly highly recommend!" -A

"Tere created a warm and accepting space for myself and other women to learn about our bodies and how movement affects it. It was such an empowering class. I can't wait for the next round!" -E

"What a fantastic opportunity to drop into your body, stop over-thinking, and MOVE." -K

"I am so grateful Tere held this container for us! Somatic movement reaffirmed my body’s innate wisdom to move in the ways bring me comfort. A tad tongue-in-cheek? Absolutely. But, if you, too, are looking to dip your toes into a more magical life but aren’t sure if the group chants or bare-your-soul vulnerability is for you, you’ve come to the right place.

Each month, we pick one topic or practice commonly used to help folks align to nature’s cycles, mindfulness practices, and self-care, and we’ll dig into its history, cultural significance, and mechanics.

Our gatherings are filled with roundtable discussions, practical applications, and end with a simple, yet sacred, circle.

In this immersive experience, we’ll explore the building blocks of meaningful rituals, drawing inspiration from a variety of spiritual traditions. You’ll come away with tools to craft rituals that honor your path, nurture a sense of connection, and empower you to live with mindfulness and purpose.

"What a fantastic opportunity to drop into your body, stop over-thinking, and MOVE." -K

"I am so grateful Tere held this container for us! Somatic movement reaffirmed my body’s innate wisdom to move in the ways bring me comfort.
