The Blood Moon is an auspicious time for working out the “within and without” of our magical energies. Come and join the priestesses Aurora Raven, Selkie, Kesari, and Dragon Song in a Reclaiming Wiccan Ritual at the Crescent Collective. We will be creating sacred space, calling in the Elements, Goddess and God and much more. The participants will gain access to their magical creative self through dance and painting/drawing; discovering where our soft and hard edges lie.
First-timers are welcome and will be guided through the event, though the circle is not the opportunity for asking questions or exploring group therapy. If you’d like to understand more about what goes on in ritual or why, please attend our Wicca 101 workshop: The Philosophy and Magick of Wicca on October 22. All are welcomed into creating sacred space and circle, and your level of participation in dancing, drumming, and painting activities is to your comfort level. Please review Ritual Etiquette here.
What to bring: a journal, comfortable clothes, an item which represents healing to you and an open mind.
Donation-based, $10 suggested donation
Open to all genders.

Wiccan Ritual Etiquette
Be early/on time - showing up late breaks the focus and the circle. If you are more than 15 minutes late, there is a chance we cannot interrupt the ritual to let you in.
Dress comfortably. We are not a skyclad group, and we do not have specific attire, so come casual.
This is a drug & alcohol free ritual. We will not be serving alcohol, and we expect participants to come with a clear mind in order to be fully present for this sacred event.
Participate when you can - all participants will be part of the circle, standing or seated. You do not have to participate in calling corners/elements, but we ask you to respectfully maintain the group circle and focus.
When the Elements (the four directions) are being called turn and face the same direction the leader is facing. If you are unfamiliar with arm gestures and responses being used just stand quietly or try to follow along.
Once the circle is open, it is expected for you to stay in circle until it is closed. Please use the restroom and silence phones prior to the beginning of ritual. Obviously if you must leave for an emergency, your leader will assist you to exit safely and quickly.
