Comfort in Stillness: Introduction to Meditation
Have you ever tried meditation? Did you wonder if you were doing it right? What about the person next to you? Are they having the same experience? Should I open my eyes to check? Why do I have this pain in my ankle? When will it be over?
All of these thoughts are normal and can be constant throughout our practice. In this class, you will learn how to prepare for meditation long before you start, and how to get into a meditative seat (one that works for you!) and most importantly, by the time you leave, you can feel confident knowing your meditation is the right way/kind/experience for you.

What You Need for Class:
An empty belly: eat 2 hours before otherwise the practice can be uncomfortable
Comfortable loose, warm clothing
Water
A body & a mind in any state
