*International Day of Peace* Sound Bath & Yoga Nidra

Come shed old samskaras with us Wednesday at 6:30 during our 1 hour guided meditation and relaxation practice.

Yoga Nidra has been found to help with: sleep, anxiety, depression, mindfulness and so much more. For those of us who need a little more assistance finding deep relaxation, yoga nidra and sound therapy and be just the thing! Both help reduce the fluctuations in the mind and allow the body to surrender to gravity.

What You Need for Class:

  • An empty belly (don’t eat just before, it can make the practice uncomfortable)

  • Comfortable loose, warm clothing

  • Water

  • Optional: An eye covering and small, flat head pillow

This sound bath will ask participants to sit or lie still for one hour in our open movement studio, while listening to a guided relaxation as the calming tones of Tibetan Singing Bowls ring through the studio. Yoga mats will be provided, but feel welcome to bring your own mat/towel, a small pillow, and a bottle of water.

Price: Suggested Donation of $20 * All proceeds will go to the CNY Food Bank. Cash donations will be collected during class.
